Singapore superstar Stephanie Sun Yan-Zi has just finished her Shanghai solo concert which was, as expected, a huge success. The concert tickets have been sold out several days before and her faithful fans flew all the way to Shanghai to watch the performance. Great songs, passionate dancing, and splendid costumes created a high party nights for all the fans and audience. Despite Stephanie Sun’s splendid 6 years of singing career and enormous popularity in worldwide Chinese community, it’s probably the Singaporean singer’s first concert in China. The 27 years old Singaporean singer created quite a storm since her entry into the music scene in the year of 2000, with chart-topping songs, record breaking sales and sellout concerts around the region. Her debut album, 'Cloudy Days' sold 300,000 discs, a commendable achievement for a relative newcomer. Stephanie's second album, 'My Desired Happiness', in 2001, saw an unprecedented sales record of 400,000 discs, which firmly established her standing in the local and regional music scene. One marvel at the list of achievements and awards Stefanie has received, given the short space of time that she has had to establish herself. In 2001 alone, she was the winner of the Best Newcomer Award, Best Composition Award and Best Song-Writing Award at the 12th Taiwan Golden Songs awards.
